| How about putting in a spot where people can type in how long (in minutes) they want to lend their item? and a checkbox for whether or not they want their item returned upon reconnecting/logging out. (and by that I mean the lend only ends when either player involved types /endlend, rather than when either player logs out.)

| The lending system is meant to be a "try" my gun sort of thing. Not to be a long term lend, if you want to borrow an item for more than 10 minutes, go rent a gun.
Also side note, the entire lend system was scripted so you could do dynamic changes like time. The whole thing would have to be re-scripted, which I'm not doing. |
