Well, pretty disappointed that I have to do this but i guess i have no choice. Yes, i have already stood down from ETA after being appointed ETA the other day. I never expected this to happen and i had many things i wanted to do.

I was informed a few days ago that i'll be touring Afghanistan sooner than expected and will be of soon to do my heat training. This has came as a surprise to myself as i never expected it to be so soon.

Anyways, i'll be popping on now and again i just wont have the time to be able to run the events team like i would have so i would rather somebody there that can do a better job than i'll be able to. (Smasher) is somebody who will do a good job in my opinion but that's not my decision. Good luck to whoever get's it.

How is that a problem in any way? It's happened plenty of times.. I recall Icarus made me an ET then ETA within a few hours. Even KoHo jumped right back as ETA from a player position...

If I recall, didn't you go directly from owning GP, to selling it for profit, to GBA, to overturning the ability to sell businesses?

My Asst ETA is to be Duende, and I'm going to rid era of all pking events, and instead replace with with Debates. I hope to someday climb the ranks and become your supreme overlord, but, we'll give it a day

It's not a problem. And you recall incorrectly. I went from GP>PR>GBA>overturning business sales like 4 months later.

and the player>GBA process took like 2-3 weeks.

It can be useless, can be effective. Depends on the ETA and what they want to do. You could just be a placeholder and whip your ETs to host or you could encourage development and new event ideas. KoHo was always a good ETA, no doubt about that.

Nothing wrong with Koho as ETA, or anything. But they litterly gave Koho back ETA just so they could control the forums better. Alot easier to say hey delete this or remove this or will remove you from ETA.



Also Smasher would be fine. I just think he would rather play era than actually do events and be staff.

How does this even make sense? Its a unofficial forum. I had access for a while and Tim did aswell, but really there is nothing we can enforce un-less its breaking the rules of the Graal External Website rules :p
